They are often struggling with emotional or behavioral problems that frustrate them as much as they frustrate their parents and teachers. For 25 years, SUWS has been the leader in outdoor behavioral programs for pre-teens and teens. We were the first licensed wilderness program in Idaho.

At SUWS, young people identify and work through internal conflicts and emotional obstacles that have kept them from responding to parental efforts, schools, and other interventions. Our students are inherently good and have the ability to be successful, but they have limited access to their own abilities and strengths.
