Featured on the Dr. Phil Show
Our son was sent to SUWS through the Dr. Phil show, because of the violence in our home. The violence was not who my son was as a person, but it is how he learned to deal with his anxiety. Inside there was a sweet, loving, caring boy who did not know what to do as his anxiety built up. At SUWS, they recognized that and they are teaching him other tools to cope with his anxiety. He needed a fresh, safe environment to learn and practice his coping skills, so that he could internalize them and no longer define himself by the violence. SUWS has been that place! We were able to see him at Family Camp and it was amazing to see how far he had progressed and his willingness to develop himself into the man that we all know that he is capable of being. There will be great things from our son, because this opportunity has been given to our family!
